Liliana Almeida

Hello, my name is Liliana Almeida. I was born in Lisbon and immigrated to the US when I was 8 years old. My parents always insisted that I keep the knowledge of the Portuguese language and culture, so they enrolled me in the Portuguese school. I am very grateful for this insistence, because today I have the advantage of knowing how to communicate in several languages, which brings me great advantages in my professional life. I’m very proud of my Portuguese roots and that’s why I want to offer that same pride to my children.
